ResumeHub Privacy Policy

Summary

ResumeHub is designed to keep your resume, cover-letter, and career information on your device. The app does not require an account, does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you, and does not sell personal information.

Data stored on your device

The app stores resumes, cover letters, template choices, export settings, and app preferences locally on your iPhone or iPad. This information remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, or back up the device through Apple services you control.

AI writing assistance

In versions that offer Apple Intelligence writing suggestions, the feature is optional and runs on your device through Apple’s Foundation Models framework. Only the selected passage is provided to the on-device model. ResumeHub does not send it to an external AI endpoint, require an API key, log the request, or retain a model conversation. You review suggestions before applying them. Availability depends on your device and Apple Intelligence settings.

Purchases

Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. ResumeHub receives purchase entitlement status from StoreKit so it can unlock premium features. Payment information is handled by Apple, not ResumeHub.

Tracking and analytics

ResumeHub does not track users across apps or websites and does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. It does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

The app does report anonymous usage counts to the developer — for example that the template picker was opened, that the purchase screen was shown, or that an export succeeded or failed — so that we can tell which parts work and which do not. Each report carries an identifier generated randomly when you install the app and stored only on your device. It is not your Apple Account, not the advertising identifier (IDFA) and not the vendor identifier (IDFV); it is never joined to your name or email address, and it is never shared with advertisers or any other company. Deleting and reinstalling the app generates a new one.

No resume content, cover-letter text, employer name, contact detail or file is ever included in these reports.
